I got my first piercing today. On my left ear's cartilage. I think it goes great with long hair and I finally had the guts to do it after years of thinking about it. My next progress pictures should show it.
Anyone else has piercings? How do you think it goes with long hair?
That´s great, I would really like to have one too... perhaps a silver cross with a small chain on my left ear, I think that´d be cool, really metal-like... and yes, I think piercings go perfectly with long hair.

Yeah those are cool. The cross ear-rings are very 80s metal. I see it alot.
Personally I like piercings in general, they usually goes well with both long and short hair. Depends on the type of piercing of course, I have seen a guy with buzzed head and some piercings where I thought it would look better if he had longer hair.
I have two holes in my left ear.
Yeah, I have a lip piercing. Usually have a ring in it, I'm not into the lebrets as much.
I think piercings go great with long hair, and like someone else said, it can look very metal.
I don't like the "face covered in metal" look, though. To me it looks like they're trying too hard, and kind of the punk/hardcore look that goes with the short hair.
I'm seriously considering getting rid of the lip piercing (I've had it for 2 years, and it can't be worn at work). I don't put it in as much because of work, so alot of times I just forget about it. I really like the "clean" look with long hair, actually. Tough decision.
Had my left ear pierced when I turned 50. My lady friend brought me an earring. Told me not to let my mother know were it came from. When I turned 60 had my left and right eared pierced and started to let my hair grow long. Think they both go together. Have a differnent lady friend now and she's not to keen on my long hair. Oh well, there are plenty of fish in the sea.
I have 3 ear piercings (3/4" in each lobe, and a 3/8" above one), my septum, and both nipples. I think it fits my look rather well (dreadlocks)
I've had piercings in both ears since I was 6 months old (I'm a guy) - something in our culture/tradition. Though they're quite sealed now, since I stopped wearing earrings after the age of 4 or so.

i don't have any piercings but i saw lots of longhaired guys with them and i especially like that silver/metal earrings - i think they suite very well to long hair ...
if i would get one it would be such earring ...

Yeah i had 2 peircings, 1 on each earlobe... just recently i got another earing on the top of my right ear, looks very cool, so i got 3 earings now. But as for my hair...i need plenty of time to reach my goals maybe 3-4 more years. And yes i think earings look very cool with hair, but also depends on what you like.
