Does anyone know for sure if prescription drugs such as Xanax cause hairloss?
...but I've used Xanax and it did not cause any problems at all with my thick hair.
I usually stay away from the stuff but if you need it..well, use ONLY as directed.
If you want to know what a taste of hell is like, just get yourself hooked on the stuff.
And then, when you try to get off of it you better do it SLOWLY or
the devil will show up and force you to dance with him.
Good Luck
All prescription meds have the possibility of certain side effects, and a rare side effect of ANY prescription drug is hair loss. Thats the downside of needing meds. I feel your pain on the subject, my hair's already thinning and now im on stupidly stong meds for a very entended period of time. I specifically asked the doctor if hair loss was a risk and thats what they both told me. Everyone reacts in different ways to different meds, and hairloss is always, if even very very slightly, a risk.
HEALTH before HAIR though.
Been there; done that. Be VERY careful: the stronger they are...
...the harder you will fall. We are not talking anti-depressants are we? Did you ever hear of brain shivers? After a
few weeeks of being on them, if you try to suddenly get off...
buzz...buzz...zap. Worst feeling in the world.
No they are meds that keep under control very strong neurological pain caused by injuring my lingual nerve during a dental surgery by hitting it with the needle BEFORE even taking out the wisdom teeth..... good game detist. So theres a "makes-you-drop-to-the-floor-and-cry" pain through my tongue that feels like I am being electrocuted thru the tongue with each opening of my mouth. Once again, Good game dentist.
The pills stop that, had to get them special through a neurological institute near my house.
Then you are blessed to have them!
Good Luck!
