Well some seafood is bad, because of factory run off that puts out these tiny heavy metal bands that gets into these fishes which stays inside them. Once you eat them these heavy metal bands will rock your body so hard that it will make you sick!
Will we humans ever learn to stop treating nature like crap! We end up hurting ourselves because we are part of nature too.
As long as there is the love of money, people will never make efforts to operate more enviromentally friendly. We can live, but certain stuff like dumping raw sewage (in China) to river and sea is just bad. Then people in the amazon would rather clear cut forests than selective cutting (which causes trees to grow back and you can basically cut trees selectively without hurting the forest) cause its cheaper to do so. People are only starting to be more aware because of government regulations but even companies knows how to bribe officials...
Environemental externalities such as pollution and non-renewable resource depletion are a major problem facing the whole world. If it was up to profit making corporations, left on their own, they would screw the environment/nature for every penny they can suck out of it and abuse it for all they can.
This is an example of market failure. This is where the goverment needs to step in and say "hang on, this isn't ethical and is ruining the environment", they can then regulate and control these corporations in complying to "the law". Thankfully in Australia the govt does a very good job in intervening and regulation of these markets.
Japan must stop killing our whales, they are hunting so many excess that they use it as pre-processed dog food! thats such an insult to Australia. They should be banned indefinately for their disgraceful actions.
If the government regulates pollution all the big money corp will do is move to a country that doesnt care such as China. It doesnt seem to work too well because of that.
