What grows faster... Facial hair or regular hair? Or do they grow at the same speed?

Now that's a good question. I think they both grow at the same speed but i am not entirely sure. I know that when i do shave(what little bit of facial hair i have) the stuble becomes noticeable again after a few days. Since the facial hair is extremely short you can notice a few days growth , which is visible to the human eye, unlike hair on our head. Beards have shorter terminal lengths aswell(although with guys like Oren and Victor i might have to reconsider this statement, lol).
Ive done research that facial hair grows about half cm faster than head hair(per month). I also notice some people get atleast 1 cm of hair per 2 weeks...meaning about 2cm( almost 1 inch) per month...Compared to head hair which grows about 1.2cm(half inch) per month.
i want one of those split goatees like Daron Malakian from System of a down used to have....and the bassist from nightwish still has, i tihnk it would be especially cool how they put the bands at the base and u can see them throw further out with the hair like people with dreadlocks do!!!
