So I'm ready to grow my hair out, but one question has been bugging me for quite a while. I've heard that it is better for the hair roots if I gently brush my hair. As if this is some sort of stimulus for my hair to grow faster. Also, I've heard that brushing your hair can also damage the roots. I just want to know which is fact and which is fiction.
i encourge you to go to this sites and see for your self you learn alot on your journey alot.

well...it CAN be damaging to your hair each time you brush it. so you shouldn't brush it too often. in reality, every time you brush your hair, it becomes warped a bit more with each stroke. rather you should comb your hair to keep it neat and detangled. and if you REALLY must, then brush your hair just to style it. but nothing more than that.
unless you have a really elastic hair like most asians, i wouldn't encourage brushing too often. stick with combing
