Hi everyone,
I have one question:
We all know that brushing (that is blowing hot air while combing the hair, so as to make it straight) damages the hair. But what if we
- put hair oil first and then do the brushing?
would it damage the hair?
- use warm air instead of cold hair?
Thanks
wet hair is supposedly weak hair. so i wouldn't recommend actual brushing. if you meant just combing your hair as it air-dries, then i don't think there's a problem with that.
What i do is let my hair dry out completely which takes a few hours and then i'll put the Garnier serum in and then brush my hair so the oils get on all the hairs.
Putting a small amount of oil on your hair before blowdrying doesn't sound too bad, but using too much heat would literally "fry" your hair. The oil and the heat would cook the strand.
And that is not good.
Ditto on flat-ironing. (For those here that do that) You should never flat-iron with some kind of oil or leave-in still wet in your hair.
