I want to grow my hair long but have thinning hair on top. Not bald ...just thinning. Do you think its ok to grow long even if its thinning like this?

Yeah, many of the guys here have thinning hair, or are bald on top.
It's now or never dude...that's my philosophy at least. If it starts to look stringy or bald on top I'll cut it, but until that day I'm golden.

Seriously, go for it....many men with thin or even bald areas are letting their hair grown long......looks fine, feels great !!

I sure would give it a try. Otherwise you will never know. And besides, who ever said it wasn't ok to have long hair even if there was some thinning involved?

I think it's not only OK, it can even hide the thinning.
Look at this recent pic of my boyfriend. You can't notice any thinning there.

And this is a pic of him 4 or 5 years ago (it's the only one I could find where you can see the thinning, now it's actually worse).
So I'd say if your hair is thinning you can even look better with long hair.
If you want long hair don't let the thinning situation stop you.
