Hey there fellow long hairs!!!
Finally I got the time (and the computer) to post an update! I definitly was missing posting a progress post since I do like to recieve feedback from you guys =) The last news of my hair is... split ends =( Yup, I have found a couple of split ends on my hair, what do you think I should do?? You know that my goal is still so far away, but do you think I should get a trim or still leave it to the future? Oh well... I have also been trying other hair products to compare... The last one I tried was Herbal Essences, which I used to use a lot in my short haired days... Recently I am trying Garnier's Fructis for dry hair and I'm liking it much =) Oh, you know my cousing with the butt lenght long haired? She was hit by a car the other day and she got hurt on her head... the doctor had to cut a bit of her hair but you can't tell... I was very scared because she is so important to me... Thank God she's fine now =)
Well, here we go to the pictures... I hope you like, I hope you'll comment, it's always welcome =) =) =)
This first one is my hair from the back, still wet from washing it...
This second one is my hair from the back... I do feel it looks a little longer than it realy is, but I'm sure I had my head staright in this one, so it's strange... maybe it actualy IS this long =) ...
This one is a shot from the side... I have taken the oictures outside in my window this month so you can have a clear idea of my colour (and to see my view)...
This is my ponytail from the back... I like that it is thick, it means I have big possibilities of reaching my goal =) ...
And from the side...
This is my half-tail... I'm realy sad that it still is a little bit insecure at the bangs because I really like this style and it's so comfortable...
And from the side...
Now an atempt... I was trying to braid my hair but I couldn't because its thickness... thickness can be good but it's also not so good at times...
Now my sister... just notice how healthy and shiny her hair looks =) It gives me a lot of pleasure to take care of her hair... it was kinda wavy that day because she had a braid just before the pictures. It's so pretty...
Now her hair from the side... you can notice that her bangs are no longer bangs... she is really happy for having taken the decision to grow them out...
Now the last picture... eternal love between brother and sister =) How I adore my little flower... - Note: we both have braces =P ...
Well, that's all for this month. I hope that from now on my computer will behave better, so I can keep on posting every month. Maybe later I will make a site to post my progress and post some timeline pictures here =) I hope you liked my pictures and found that was worth the wait =) Thank's for watching!!

I don't know what to say! I'm just blown away by the progress you've made. Your hair grows SOOOO fast! Its thickness is incredible too. I'm so jealous of the thickness of your ponytail and you're right, it's indicative of tremendous possibilities for continued growth.
It will be no time and you'll be able to wear the halftail with the bangs reaching the tie comfortably. That style looks GREAT on you!
I'm so happy for you that you didn't let anyone in your family or anyone else for that matter discourage you from growing your hair out.
I think that is a great idea about making a website and posting your progress. I'd love to see the comparison shots all on one page. Websites are easy to make and free on geocities.
I wouldn't worry about the splits. Maybe you could do a S & D (search and destroy) and just cut a tiny bit off the individual hairs you find.
Finally, your sister is adorable and her hair is likewise amazing. What good hair genes your family has! It's wonderful too that you two are so close. I'm sorry to hear about your cousin but thankfully it wasn't too serious.

Your hair has gotten so long and is so thick. The half-tail is very nice. I definitely think you will be able to make it to your goal length. I know you are very happy with it so far, and it can only get better.

I think you look great with your long hair. you hair is thick, but straight and well cared. good genetic dispositions are the reason, I presume.
and the pic with your sister is too nice...looks as if you are a good brother for your (little) girl (do you have green eyes? that looks expecially good in combination with your hair color)...interesting to see the the surrounding in the city where you live.

I'm astonished at how your hair's growing! The thickness is incredible, and frankly, I think your braid will look beautiful with some more length, perhaps mid-back. I've seen hair thicker than yours put into a pretty three-strand braid, so don't worry about it.
I have to say every hair style you posted suits you perfectly. It's incredible. The ponytail is looking simply stunning. You must be the envy of every girl in your neighborhood, lol.
Your sister's bangs have really grown! And her hair looks incredibly healthy and full. Good stuff.
I'm sorry to hear about your cousin, but it's good to know there was no lasting damage.

If ever there was magnificent long hair to be seen, yours certainly falls into that catagory. It is absolutely superb beyond all shadow of a doubt. And, it fits you perfectly. I am truly amazed and very happy for you. With hair like that I cannot see how it can even stop at waist level if this is what your goal will be.
Your sister is a little angel and I am so happy that you have each other. So sorry to hear of your cousin, but glad she is doing well.
As to the Split Ends: If they are not giving you troubles now I wouldn't worry all that much about them, however I would be inclined to single-out ea. one and cut it just above the split.
Again, about the most magnificent long hair I have ever seen! You must be very proud of your achievement.........and for good reason too! Good luck in continued growth.

Nice hair... I wish mine was that thick. If you keep it growing until it's as long as your sister's, it will be fantastic.

You mention having a few split ends. With hair at your length, the split ends may be hard for you to see. You may want to have your sister help you with them.

that's super-cool long hair! It was/is definitely worth the wait, and I wish I could have grown mine when I was your age. It will be a "killer" look when it gets to your desired length.

For split ends, I personally find that any "anti-frizz" or "anti-split ends" gel that consists of dimethicone and cyclomethicone and (almost) nothing else, works best. You may not even have to trim the ends at all. However, even some simple vaseline may help to protect the hair ends.

Wow!!! Your hair looks amazing! It was definitely worth the wait to see these pictures. I can't believe how long it has gotten. Your hair is very full and healthy looking. I don't see any need to cut it. let it keep growing. I can only imagine how beautiful it will look when it is mid-back length. I especially like the half ponytail pics. The little bit of natural wave and curl make that a great style on you. Hope you will develop your own site and post monthly progress pics. You and SITM have the best hair on the board. Finally, the long anticipated progress that everyone has been waiting for. This is a very complete update and i really enjoy all the different styles and looks that you are experimenting with.
I love the views of the street and all the buildings, very pleasant and nice background. Much better than the 'bathroom mirror' shots i'm infamous for overdoing, so boring!
Long hair suits your face so well. It gives you a feminine look but it also makes you look older and more mature, like you are taking control of your life.
Your hair has an amazing texture and thickness to it and looks both great 'down' and in a ponytail. I am confident that you will have no problems going to waist length with quality hair like that.
I love your sister's hair aswell. It is so long and beautiful. You are both blessed with amazing hair genes and good looks. Glad to see that you get on with your sister and you don't fight and bicker(like me and my sister always do).
