I have alot of dreams where my hair gets cut, willingly. But i wake up and im like whew its still there!
I've had quite a few of those..
They're useful to remind us how much better long hair is. As if we need reminding.
HEHEHEHE.
That's your subconscious telling you how passionate you are about your hair and how devasted you would be if it got cut.
Those dreams are scary. Fortunately, i don't dream about my hair getting buzzed.
I've had that dream too. In mine, I only went for a trim and they took inches off. Only a dream, thank goodness!

well maybe you should watch out, they could mean something. maybe someone wants it cut. lol
I have those dreams to. I would be devistated if my hair was chopped off. I always have this fear that one day my hair will have to be chopped off. I don't know why I have this fear? I really shouldn't worry.

I rarely do get those dreams, but when they happen, they came in two themes:
1) The haircut - dream of having had my haircut, and feeling powerless after that, and regretting it sorely and anticipating at least three years before it grows back. It has been a while I hadn't had this kind of dream, but they were frequent in the yuppie 80's. I do find this dream a good dream, as some one said, a reminder that long hair is beautiful, and it is like a virtual reality simulation of how one would feel about having his hair cut short.
2) Losing my hair as in going bald - This is a bit creepyer, and annoying at times. I rarely have this dream, but the scenario is the following: I am in the bathroom, and I look at myself in the mirror to see that my hair is thinning in front but still long for the rest. I never see myself completely bald, but simply just balding in the front and it is very evident. It is a dream that seems to be comming true since it is thinning a bit, however I do not complain since other men have more serious issues than I have with MPB, and at 47 I consider that I have a healthy head of hair.
One funny dream, was that I was on a bus from Ottawa to Montreal, back in 1983. There was a draft, and I was being taken to the induction center in Ottawa. Once arrived, I see a lineup of recruits waiting for their turn for the army haircut. As my turn approaches, I notice the barber clipping the recruits, and the clippers are at the end of a 12 inch stick. As my turn approaches, I manage to sneak out of the line, and find 10 bucks in my pocket to pay for bus fare back to Montreal. The truth is that Canada does not have any compulsory military service, and that since World War 2.

Or it could be the old Jell-O you had the night before. ;P

Yeah i get alot of those "Nightmares"...but luckily i wake up and find that they're false. I even get scared of thinking of my hair being cut.
I get those sometimes as well, it's quite scary until I sit up in bed in a sweat panicking touching my head feeling it's there and go back to sleep!
