hi guys, been on the site quite alot for moral support, trying to grow me locks and i am most definatly going through the akward stages right now with hair getting in ma eyes, and the bottom curls slightly due to excessive waxing when i had it short, ne way thought id put up a pic to see what everyone thinks, so far, will post more pics as time progresses, ive gone with the whole side part thing don't konw why think cos at the mo a center part wouldn't suit it as its still quite short

Yes, indeed, you are in the thick of the awkward stage at the moment. Your hair flips like crazy on the sides/back and your bangs are falling in your eyes. All this is perfectly normal and every long hair must tough it out through this stage if you want to have long hair. Bear with it, it is gonna look great when it's longer.
Looks good so far dude! The flips certainly are annoying ain't they? But yhey get better with length. Cool goatee too.
