I took some photos to send to a frend, so I thought I might put them here...
There's one with my hair down and one with it tucked behind the ears...
I'm thinking about letting the beard grow, but I don't like the way it looks, it looks too scarce, atleast to me (I don't know if that's the right word, but you know what I mean).
also, I would like to ask the admin to update my user picture...

Man, Erik, the difference in your old avatar pic and now is like night and day. You most definitely look much better with the beard and the long hair. I think the beard looks cool, why not enjoy it now instead of waiting for some perfection later on. I think it looks fine. And your hair is great too.
To get your pic updated, email Oren in the user directory as he does the updaes now.
Either behind or over your ears, it looks great, and as ChrisG said, you avatar is incredibly different to your current look. Certainly looking much better now than before: more character now.
The beard isn't too bad at all. Perhaps it will improve in time but I don't think it's that bad.

It looks good because I washed it that day, but it's full of static because I'm using the Garnier Fructis 2 in 1 shampoo, which my mom bought for me, even though I told her not to :)

I just have one question that I forgot to mention:
The hair in front of my ears, on the border between the hair and beard, just under me glasses is very weak - I just have to gently pull and several hairs come out.
Is that because of the glasses?
Does anyone else have that problem?
The beard looks fine. It is not super-thick, but looks good just as it is.
Hair is progressing well too. Very nice blond color!
