Hi all, I've been growing my hair now for 18 months from a crew cut. I'm at just over 7 inches now, and shock horror have found loads of split ends.My hair has been so frizzy that I've always used loads of products to keep it down, which is probably the cause. I've started cutting them off myself but my hair is very thick, it would take forever. I don't think anything can be done apart from get a trim, any advice?
A full trim isn't really needed and most likely is needless anyway.
Perhaps allow yourself 1/2 hour a day to work on those Split-Ends and cut just above the split. Make sure your sissors are super sharp. ONLY target and rid yourself of the Split-ends individually.
If the patience factor is just too much of doing it yourself, go to a Salon and tell them EXACTLY what you want done. Split-Ends and NOTHING else.
Good luck in getting rid of these nastys. I had a "run-in" once with them myself and it was around the 2 year mark.
I wouldnt worry. frizzy hair isnt the same thing as having split ends. it took me a while to work that out lol. And a lot of people dont seem to notice the idfference.
He "says" he has Split-Ends. He also "says" his hair is frizzy.
I have frizzy and wavy hair and there's not alot you can do about, and okay I find the odd split end but I don't worry.
