I caught an episode of Frazer this weekend, one of the first episodes of the series. His father had just moved in with him and Frazer wanted to get rid of Dad's ugly old recliner. In this episode, there was a young guy who played the part of a building super's assistant. He carried in the new chair Frazer bought for his father. This guy had some of the most beautiful hair I've ever seen, and it was all one length down to his lower back. I watched the credits and learned his name is Phil Buckman. I googled his name but only came up with that and other TV shows he's been in. One of the sites said he was in a band called "Helicoptor Helicoptor", but I couldn't find anything on that.
Does anyone know this guy, or anything about him today?
Yes he had awesome hair. I can only wish I had hair like that.
A while back somebody posted a current picture of him and he had
cut his hair to something like 1/2". Too bad.
Thanks for the update, although I really would have preferred to have heard something different from the news you reported.
He really did have some gorgeous hair.
If what you said is true (and I have no reason to question it) and he did cut his hair to about 1/2 inch, I suppose he wanted a change. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, he HAD long hair, and he had the experience of having incredibly long and incedibly gorgeous hair . . . something most of us will never experience, no matter how much we may want it.
I think it's great when someone can look back and not have any regrets (or have as few as posible). That's why I think it's so important to do things that when you're young, because when you get older, you may not have the option to do it. And let's face it, long hair and youth really do go very well together.
So, while you're in school, let your hair grow . . . what better time to grow your hair long than when you're in school. Just think about it, you've got twelve years of school (16 if you go on to college). Do you have any idea what kind of beautiful hair you can grow in twelve years . . . WOW!!
Am I rambling? Sorry.
Yes he did. It was somebody here on the board (but I can't
remember who) that found the current (this may have been a couple
of years ago) picture of him.
I also agree with your other statements but I had to wait until
after I finished school to start growing my own frizzy curly
mangy hair (compared to his).
Yes, but you don't HAVE to cut your hair after you're done with school.
I googled his name using Google Images and came up with:

Judging from the length of his hair, I think he's the guy you're talking about. If it is, it's too bad he cut his hair. :(

Thanks for the link. Yes, that's him. I beleive he also did quite a number of commercials 10 or 15 years ago, too, although I don't recall what they were for . . . I think it may have been for Burger King.
The camera certainly loves hair like that. It's a shame he didn't keep it.
Got that right!
