i notice if i don't trim the bottom part of the back of my head it curls up and out and starts to form a mullet, which is the last thing i want. i'd say every few months i trim this lower segment so it doesnt stick out. anyone else do this?
NO!
Leave it alone and its weight will stop the curling. Its part of the awkward stage which you must just go through.
but i do not want any type of 'mullet look' in the back. none whatsoever. i'm not trying to let it grow down to my back or anything. i will don't want it any longer than probably mouth level in front.
so i still let it grow out there considering my intentions?
thanks for the reply
Same here - I only want my hair to grow to shoulder level but the back of my head looks so dang untidy ..... I used to trim it but now I'm gonna try and let t grow out ..... wish me luck !!
Xin chao, Minh den tu HL, minh mong muon duoc lam quen voi tat ca cac ban. Thanks you
I did trim mine about 3 times over the first year of growth, and have let it go in the last year. I did so to keep it from being too shaggy at work whilst growing out my bangs...I don't particularly like the results now as I have a near "bob" cut, but it did the trick.
I now wear it all in a tail at work and, in a few months, I'll trim the sides and bangs a bit to make it look more natural...
