Hi everybody, sorry for my english, i'm italian.
That isn't the first time i wrote here, looking for some tips in fighting against frizzy fair ecc....
Now maybe, i found the solution of this riddle.
I had frizzy hair, dandruff just after the shampoo. Tried every kind of shampoo, every sort of tricks...
The other day, i came across a site, talking about stop using shampoo, chemical detergent in general. Switching them with baking soda and apple winegar. I tried it, after all, i don't fear notingh because my hair can't get whorse than that.Boy, that really worked. I never had hair like that, never. That's only the first step, i know. Now i have to wait to se the new "growt"?? and whait the scalp to undergoo this radical change.
If someone already made this experience, tell me about that.
Im a chemist, i always read the back of the bottle looking for "bad things" and i never realized that the shampoo itself is a bad thing cose in the past we never used but.....that is another story..... :-)
Hi I'm half Italian (mother's side)/half Irish.
What part of Italy are you from? My family comes from Calabria and Rome. We live in Florida now and I have never been there despite the fact my aunt and uncle were both born in Rome. I cant read/write Italian but can speak almost fluently and understand when spoken to, it was my first language till school started. My family names are Cividino and Pizzichemi.
You use Apple Cider Vinegar? I use that once a month and it does help, never used baking soda though. My hair can get frizzy and is curly but as it grows the weight will naturally straighten it to wavy. So you have abandoned shampoos for good in favor of apple cider vinegar and baking soda? Do you use conditioner at all?
I have problems with build-up and very little dandruff which is probably from the residue issues.
Wish I could tell you the secret but everyone has to find the "perfect" routine themselves because everybody's hair is different. Good luck Stefano!
Hi, i'm from Milano, actually near milano. I studied as a chemist so, i understand that almost everything chemical isn't really good for human body. I think we can have everything we need from nature. In the past when there wasn't the soap people washed theyr hair with "ashe"?. So i'm trying to eliminate the use of chemicals from my diet too. I wash myself with natural soap like castiglia soap made only by olive oil. I don't use nothing made-by-the-man on myself and on my hair. My hair are straight but frizzy and dry. After a day or two they settles up.
But now stopping the use of every chemicals "conditioner too" they are really great. I have only to whait and see if they grow better and "healthier"? because they are little damaged on the front. No more dandruff, nothing and i had it as far as i can remember. I try to wash them only 2 days per week but its hard when doing sport.I was never been in the states. Too much Mcdonalds hehehe.
