Hi guys!
I'm now heading to the hair dresser with my sister for her trim. Last thursday I has a conversation with my hairdresser and I think it's gonna be fine. I was also thinking about trimming but I'm too undecided, I know I'm gonna regret it. My hairdresser took a look at my hair and she told me it's fine, I don't even have split ends... she only told me that my ends are really thin and the only thing she would do is cutting them (the very ends on the hair perimeter)... tough I do not think it's necessary, since she told me my hair is in good condition. Tough, my sister has got split ends and she does need a trim. I took a before picture and will take an after picture to show it to you later on... Let's see how this goes... wish us luck =)
I'm still thinking about the trim, I know it would be good to my hair but I also know I'll regret it since anyways I'd loose lenght... I don't think I'll do it =S

Thanks for the update and I don't think either of you need much of a trim at all. As I've said before you don't have to loose inches that's for sure and I'm sure ou sister doesn't need mucg removing either.

Hi João,
I don't think you really need a trim but when was the last time you had one? I get about 1/8 - 1/4 inch trim once per year. I like the freshness of the ends and I don't think losing that amount of length once a year is a bad trade off at all.
If it's been more than a year since you've had a trim, maybe you could have this done. BUT only if you really TRUST the person cutting your hair. You would have to be explicit about the amount you want cut.
