After I shampoo and condition my hair (or even just condition), I careful pat my hair with a towel to get the bulk of the water out of it, then I gently comb my hair with this wide toothed comb (pictured). This is in the hope that it will help the drying process a little. Having nice straight hair, I hardly get any knots so there's very few snags or lost strands in the comb by the end of it. It then naturally air-dries within about 30-45 minutes.
In fact, I even gently use the comb during the conditioning process just before rinsing, to make sure no tangles develop.
Does anyone else do something similar to this? The wide toothed comb seems to work well for me.

Nice photo, lol. It makes me laugh. You look like you could do advertisements for hair commercials and stuff hahaha.
It is good to see you are taking good care of your hair from the beginning. It will pay off when it's longer.
A wide-toothed comb is also a good idea. I use this aswell whilst my hair is wet , right after i condition, to go through the length of the hair and get out knots and snags.
Your bangs are eye length, wait till they get to mouth length, then chin length and beyond. I always use my bangs as an indication of how long my hair had grown.
how long have you been growing your hair for now? OR SINCE THE PICTURE YOU JUST TOOK? woops... sorry about the caps their! too lazy to change it lol
and to response of your question, I usually just get out the bath, rinse out the water with my hair and rub the towel over my hair a few times... then wait :p i finger comb my hair... i dont like hair too straight and neat =P
This roughly what I look like at my last haircut, on about 18th October, 2005.

That's as far as I myself go. The comb or brush brought disaster and destruction to my hair when wet........and yet for some guys it works fine.
I no longer use a comb. Only my fingers as does EdG.
I proceed exactly the way you do... It works very well for me =)
he he, cool pick. :) No, I don't use any combs. Usually after washing my hair I quick dry it a bit with a towel and then wet it once more, but not completely, with cold water. After doing this I've found it's much easier to rinse it thru, and I just use my fingers to do this.
Actually Luke they are know as affro Combs over here in the UK as there great to use on Curly hair as well as remove Tangles from your hair preventing less loss to :-) Your hair Looks Awesome btw !
