So I've been growing out my hair for eleven months. In the back, the hair was a LOT longer than the hair in the front. So I asked my mom to trim off about three inches from the back.
It looks so much better now. The layer of longer hair underneath the layer of the shorter hair was a ridiculous look.
LOL, 3 inches is alot. Alot of guys growing out straight hair tend to do this to avoid the 'mullet' look. So i can understand. I have curly hair to i don't touch it, i need all the length i can get.

I think I'm one of the few who hasn't cut the back. I didn't even have the "mullet" phase, and if I did, it was very brief.
