OK, I'll admit my ignorance. What is the EMO look?
The Emo look is (generally) jet black hair with long fringe and short back, and tee-shirts and jeans that are too small for the wearer. Here are a couple of pics of an emo guy. Personally I sort of like the look, though I don't think I could adopt it because it seems to be pretty unpopular, not to mention that I'd get a lot of hassles with my work.

How can this guy(and all other emos with the chin length fringes) possibly see where he is going?
It is almost like being impared in one eye cause the hair covers it. Atleast you have the other eye to look out of,otherwise he might walk into a wall, hahaha. I just can't stand hair in my face. Thank god for tucking behind the ears and ponytails. I really hate the emo look, IMO.
Now you see hehehe..bang of dear I should look where I'm going..lol!!!

that pics actually not bad.
hate the emo look...its just another stupid fashion trend....the music associated with it a really bad too who wants to hear an album where every song is sung in a whineing girly voice about being dumped. The guitar playing sucks too
actually theres a guy at my school with only one eye (the others glass) and hes got the fringe thing covering it.....so i guess thats handy
Seconded!
Well , that is quite practical, i can see how a emo fringe can be utilised if you only have 1 eye , hehehe.
The "EMO look" comes mostly from the hair. It's Shorter than shoulder length hair and it usually covers atleast half the face, it's usually cut very short in the back and on the sides, the front is probably just enough to cover the eyes and even reach the nose. There are different styles to the hair too, but it's mostly similar to this look.
I personally hate anything EMO: the hair, the style, the attitude, the music.
The Emo haircuts are usually done by Straighteners and chemicals...which are extremely bad for hair, and the people who use these conditioners and straighteners probably won't be able to even keep hair after 3 years of the use. Also, if it rains...then the Emo haircut is screwed!
Thanks everyone!
