Hey guys I started growing my hair a half year ago from a shave and my progress is pretty good. I am curious though what my type of curly hair will look like when long, {I am going for not cutting it ever again) so anyone know of any people with similar hair or have pictures of similar hair as so I can see what my future is?
Try googling "Robert Plant" BTW- excellent hair so far.
Wow! Fabulous hair! It is so hard to project into the future to see what your hair will look like then, but I'm sure yours will be fantastic. Guess you will just have to wait and see. If there is anyone around here that would probably be able to give the best "guess" as to how curly hair such as yours might look, it is someone who posts here alot and uses the name 80s_Metal. Hope you hear from him.
Welcome to the board and wow a great start and do keep it growing and nice to see natural curly hair. I'm sure one of our fellow posters called 80's metal will have some good words as well.
Keep it growing.

Your hair isn't that curly, dude. You're going to end up with loose waves, but lots of them. The roots of your hair might become totally straight.
Great progress so far. Your hair has a sort of "angelic model" look to it. You don't see many guys with that kind of hair. Pretty impressive.
Only 6 months? Wow... amazing progress!
I would say your hair is wavy, rather than curly...
I think it will look great in a year or two, specially with that color.
Keep it growing!
Hi, your hair is looking fabulous. It is looking super long and super curly for only 6 months. It took me about a year to get hair your length. You must be blessed with an incredible growth rate! Keep growing it.
Something a bit wavier than this
Nice hair! Check out Redleader in the directory of users.
Hi RLOboy,
that's excellent growth - and it'll look outrageously good as it gets longer. It'll be somewhat less curly - in any case, just perfect!
Just make sure you untangle it with your fingers and a good conditioner from time to time, as it gets longer. I'm looking forward to your 2009 progress pics ;-)
Peace, and have fun!

I think you have a nice hair. But one question, is it only half a year you are growing it, or is it one and a half year?
