hi all!
i was watching the espn channel the other night and noticed one of the anchors had semi long hair. . .maybe not long by this board's standards, but in every way long for an anchor's standards. . .i think his name was barry melrose or something like that(they actually rarely ever show the anchors or their names on this channel. . .most of the air time is spent on game highlights) i was floored to see an anchor with long hair. . .even if it was espn. . .anchors, sports or not, have to have such a plastic, no personality look, that i was really excited to see this. i have only noticed the guy on late nights. . .typically 11:00-11:30. . .has anyone noticed this guy before?

I remember him and I heard he had a bad rep and never was hired again in the NHL (National Hockey League). Wayne Gretzky and him never got along, so Barry got fired.
Barry Melrose is one of the hottest men on TV, in my opinion. He used to have much longer hair, but has cut it a bit shorter since he quit coaching and became a broadcaster. He has a new goatee that I like a lot too. You're right, it's rare to see that on a TV anchorman, but it sure looks good!
