How to handle bad hair phases....
haha. nice pics. hats can definitely make the awkward stage not so bad. if i am going somewhere, where wearing a hat would be acceptable and my hair isnt looking so great that day then i definitely do it. in the colder months i usually wear a beanie. if its warm and my hair looks terrible i just throw on a baseball cap. it really is a great option.
-SOADdude.....who is in the awkward stage =)
I can't tell you how many times I've woken up late for a class with psychotic bedhead and had to throw on a baseball cap to save time. Forget hair damage. Caps are god. :D lol
Caps are my way of "biting the bullet" on those ultra bad hair days. When your hair looks frizzy, messed up and won't sit in place...put on the good old cap.
Don't even mention bed hair. I hate it. Have you ever went to bed with your hair not fully dry and see what it looks like in the morning ? It looks very out of place and SHORTER. It actually makes it look as if i am just commencing the awkward stage. I really hate it when my hair 'compresses' like that!
BTW, that natural conditioner is working wonders on my hair.
In the morning, i got ready to go to work, wet my hair and slicked it back and ponytail. The extra conditioner residue left in my hair removed all the frizz and flyaways in my hair and the top had a nice smooth, slicked look. The look of gel but without gel! Actually , a female coworker complimented my ponytail today and asked how i slicked my curly hair so nicely like how i do :)
Good to see that you have found ways to tackle the awkward stage. I wore hats alot when i was growing. Even on those frustrating hair days, never give up, be creative and work around the problem. Nice hat, it really suits you great. Funny sequence of pics aswell. Cheers dude.
