I just wanted to pass along a very good hair care tip that I first read on Ed G's homepage. He said he dries his hair with a fan . . . absolutely no hot air that you would get from a blowdryer.
Now remember, my hair is nowhere near as long and magnificent at Ed's hair, and it probably never will be, but that another story for another time, right now it's back to my story.
Well, I have to admit that for years I've used a blowdryer. But, the other day the darn thing burned out, at least the heating element burned out - the fan or blower part still worked. So, for the past few days I've been using the blowdryer without the heating element and the condition of my hair is noticibly improved. It does take a little longer to get my hair "dry" without the heating element, but the results are worth it.
So if you are using a blowdryer, see if you can diconncet the heating element - or at least use the low setting for awhile. I think you'll notice quite a difference.
Thanks!
I haven't owned a blow dryer in years. The box fan or electric heater are much gentler ways to dry hair.

I've been having trouble with dry hair due to blow drying too! I can't not blow dry it because I have to go to school and be ready fairly fast. I'll definately try the lowest setting. How long did it take you're hair to get better?
I noticed the difference immdeidately . . . the first day I used the blowdryer without the heat.
To be quite honest, you don't look like you have a problem with dry hair . . . your hair looks very healthy. But try blowdrying without heat or on the lowest heat setting for a couple of days. It does take a little longer, but not much.
