There are people who posted positive comments about and there are some that posted negative comments about it.. though you guys might wanna take a look..
Sounds like a bunch of low intelligent teens debating whether long hair or not looks good on guys.
If these people at least knew how to spell, the petitions would have some sense. On both the for and against sides one notice bad writing.
On the other hand, anyone with a chip on his or her shoulder can start a petition on the web, and they are not legally standing as a paper petition can. These sites are there to collect e-mail addresses, and make money from advertisers, the like of freeipods.com.
Have a nice day,
Georges
Not that that would ever go through, but they would have to take my life to force me to rid of my hair, just my standpoint though. Especially in this free country it wont pass... but yeah.. its part of who I am and I dont change for anyone.
Wow, I never imagined that florida prisons forced inmates to cut their hair to an acceptable length. Good thing I wont see the inside of a florida prison lol.
The decision to grow your hair should revolve solely on the individual's desire and intention. I should know how it feels to be persecuted for longish hair but I wont let anything phase me even if the whole world decided it was socially incorrect for males to have long hair.
I detest the number of shorthairs male and female in florida. It seems at a certain age they just want to give up the length in favor of convenience. This supposedly appropriate length in social settings is abhorring and is eerily reminiscient of THX and futuristic dystopias.
Don't know about Florida prisons, but it's my understanding that the Maricopa County prisons in Arizona mandated crewcuts for the inmates. Not for appearance reasons, but because inmates were using their hair as a place to hide small items of contraband. The only exception was for Native Americans, for whom an allowance was made due to religious reasons. However, they were warned that one instance of hiding things and they would get buzz cuts also.
