I have no idea if this is the right place to ask, if not, I'll be on my way, though my qustions still may be answerable, I hope.
I doubt I'm the only one, but who became bored of their hair? Sometimes I look at it and think it's lifeless. I want to add a bit of life to it. Infact, probably a lot of life. Something big and whacky possibly like the two below:

Now the questions:
1) How long would it take to grow this?
2) How would you go about growing it from scratch? (I'm a complete naive newbie to long hair!)
3) How often would it need maintenance cutting?
4) How is that sort of lift/volume achieved?
Thanks in advance, and keep growing!
Well what is "wild hair" anyways?
If you mean thick curly hair then i have that but there are ways to tame it and make it look good.
12 months or so.
Go to the links section at the top and read the RAQ and FAQ.
3) How often would it need maintenance cutting?
Only for split ends.
Maybe a bit of mousse or a blow dryer.
lol i was expecting a caveman
it looks pretty stockstandard akward stage if you ask me
nonetheless, to achieve this look grow your hair to around 9-12 months or so and use hairspray and mousse (like 80's said) to get that 'wild' look. Also, try wetting your hair, drying it until slightly damp and then going to bed straight after...you'll wake up with some mean bed hair trust me :p
