Since I moved to New York City 6 months ago I have been fired from 2 jobs due to misconduct, various retarted stuff. However one job I can keep pretty much keep is very long hair friendly. Basicly it is very hard to get fired.
Now there is a requirement to work this job, you must live a fairly sized city.
LIke New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles. Some of the smaller towns like Denver hire couriers as well.
THe pay is by commision or minimum wage, but is a start until I can get A+ certified.
Any other longhairs couriers.
Any way I have no pictures, since I have had very little money since arriving in New York, but that is changing by my 3 year mark i will have a good digital camera and a decent computer.

Hello,
I have worked as a messenger, and physically it is hard work, long hours, (about 10 hours a day), however the bright side of the job, is you can keep your hair. What helps is being punctual, and absenteeism is very much frowned upon.
I worked 9 years until I found my current job at Université du Québec as a computer technician. There too I can keep my hair :) since as I said in an earlyer post, I have long hair since 1979. I have worked at all kinds of places, but never have been turned down because of hair.
In Montreal, the weather is dirty, especially in winter with the slush, so you will see that in the picture, I tuck my hair under my beany to protect it from the road salt and slush.
Have a nice day,
Georges in Montreal.
Man, most work in Taiwan is 10 hours, and more people are working no less than 12 hours a day here....
Yes in my work im working about 10 hours a day for less than mininium wage, New York State is 6.75 an hour. Where as the rest of the country is 5.15.
At first im going to be reparing computers, but my goal is to be become a network enginner.
