Sorry but I really have to share my GREAT news with u all! 2moro Tuesday, April 11th I will see the remaining members of my favourite rock group "THE DOORS" perform live, right here in Ireland...!!! Yup, this is something i have been longing to see since the first time I bought their cd's and listened 2 their music! The Doors have helped me in life, in soooo many ways!! It is because of them especially "Jim Morrison" that I want long hair and think that it is cooler than short..... The concert is in Dublin, Ireland (which is just over an hours drive away from where i live!)... doors open at 7.30p.m. I CAN'T WAIT 2 see Ray Manzarek & Robby Krieger..... oh and Ian Astbury (Lead Singer of the Cult) will be singing all the doors songs......... Sorry for anoyin ya'll with this post but i really needed 2 get it off my chest... lol!!

By the way, I'm seeing Opeth and Korn (2 seperate events) later this month.
While I'm obviously not as happy as you, I'm still quite happy!

Exciting! So how was it?
A friend of mine, who is a huge Doors fan, saw them last year or the year before, he said they were great.
Though I personally think it can never be as good as with Jim, Ian Astbury is a good singer, so the Doors of the 21st Century should be worthwhile.
The Doors are another reason why I wish I was born 30 years earlier :-) (though Pink Floyd is the main reason)
