Does anyone know of a semi-perminant dye (one that will wash out in about a month or 2) that wont damage my hair? I'd like to dye my hair or at least put some streaks in it but I would rather it not be permanant. Of course I wont do it at all if it could damage my hair. Spent to long growing my hair to ruin it now. Hehe. I love my natural color but I'd like to change it up for a little while to keep from getting bored. Any comments are welcome. Thanks ^.^
Katamah, there are shampoos that will give you a temporary color. They are made to go on specific shades of hair and give slight change but you might also get an interesting effect with one of the other shampoos. For something wilder some stores carry mascara wands of bright color streaks you can put in and wash out. Have fun with your hair!

That being said, I have been dying my hair since so the temporary didnt look so funny. Although theres alot of people against hair dying on here, my hair specifically seems to be just as healthy with dye.. Havent noticed any changes, going on 16 months of growing now.

Since you have blond hair, you won't have to bleach first before using the dye. It should wash out almost completely in a few days/weeks. The residue will take a little longer to fade, but you can use a hot oil treatment to make it go away faster.
I dye my hair to get rid of the gray. I just tried a new NO COLOR product out called Shine it worked great my hair came out way shiner to the point it looks wet after it is dry. Only took 10 min. Box says it lasts about 4 weeks. My hair still looks real good after 3 weeks with no damage feels and looks good. I'll use it again.
