Has anyone ever tried Alberto's VO5 Hot Oil hair treatment? I know its a pretty cheap product, so maybe it's not helpful or harmful.
I tried it once, i didnt find it detrimental to my hairs condition in the slightest, in fact, me shine greatly improved. however, i personally prefer the use of olive oil over such products as i can be fairly certain of the ingredients.
I have used both VO5 and tresseme hot oil treatments and neither of them provided any real benefits. Then again, few products have worked for me so I might not be the best source.
I use it every week, Brian, and find that it makes a huge difference. I have thick, curly/wavy hair, and for days after using the hot oil, my hair is a lot softer and healthier-looking. Not sure if you'll have the same success, but it's definitely worth a try.
