Howdy!
This is cool - a board dedicated to fellow longhairs. Obviously, I am new to this, but I am not new to long hair. However, I've seem to have gone through my cycles with my hair. At one time, I had hair down to the middle of my back (I'll have to go through my parent's picture archive this weekend when I am up there for Easter and see if I can find that one picture of myself walking down the beach with my hair blowing in the wind).
For now, here is a picture taken the previous summer of myself with my "Goldilocks" looking hair. I was swimming at the local pool earlier that day and that was how my hair dried.
Yo! Welcome!

A follow up!
Here are links to two current pictures (just took this evening April 12, 2006) of myself:

Notice the lack of eyeglasses compared to the picture at the top of this thread (and the one in that thread about Metal and hair). Right before Thanksgiving, I've underwent LASIK surgery, and now, I no longer need to wear glasses. Also, I did get rid of my goatee. I guess I just got tired of it. I may grow it back. However, about that same time, I did commit a sin. I went to get my hair trimmed, thinking it would help it "look better". I wish I hadn't. Granted, that was back in November, and my hair had a good six months to grow back. I plan on letting grow to just past my shoulders. Beyond that, it becomes such a pain to deal with, with the curls and all. I had hair down to the middle of my back at one time. (Still need to see if I can dig up some pictures).
I ought to see if I can find an old picture of myself from when I was in the Army, sporting a flat-top, or while I was attending college, sporting the typical "spiked hair" look of the late 80's/early 90's.
Welcome,
Your hair is actually wavy, not curly.
I love the gold/blonde colour and it looks nice.
Your hair would have looked awesome at mid-back, if you find that pic, upload it.
Be wary of hairdressers, some are butchers.
The goatee beard suits you better.
Keep it growing.
Great looking golden curls!
Welcome aboard,
- Oren
Thanks!
BTW, you look familier! By chance, have you recently been to Phoenix Phall Phunfest up at Knoebels in PA? After looking at your site, I see that you are a roller coaster enthusiast. I am also a rollercoaster enthusiast. I live a mere 1/2 hour drive from Kings Dominion in Virginia.
No - I havn't been to Phoenix Phall Phunfest. If I ever come up to Knoebels, I will have to meet my double there sometime :D
Another MLHH member "Karsten", is also a roller coaster enthusiast and lives not far from Knoebels.
If you're an ACE member, maybe I'll see you at an event sometime!
Shoot me an email if you wan't to talk some more.
Oren - A mere half mile from Six Flags Over Texas
Wow, I really like the blond color and culy/wavy type of hair you have. It will look good at whatever length you decide on.
Welcome to the board, and good luck!
