Well I have thick, bushy, and wavy hair and it's like that after I shower and it dries. But after a day or two of sleeping with it and tying it back it gets straighter and "de-poofed". Is there anyway to prevent this or get back the wave without washing it again?
(Pic coming as soon as I get it in the e-mail)
I know what you mean, Brian. I have thick curly hair and when i slick it back into a ponytail it comes out looking alot straighter once dried. This also helps with frizz. As soon as you get water near your hair is it going to reform into your hairs natural form again. Water rebuilds my curls and makes them defined after days without getting water near my hair.
You should learn to love your hair. IMO, thick and wavy/curly hair is the best type of hair.
If you want to keep your hair like this all the time try this.
Have a shower as usual, towel and air dry until only sligtly damp and then comb your hair and tie it in a ponytail. Release ponytail after a few hours and your hair should look more 'tame' and straighter.
If you don't want to wash it, just rinse it really well and get it soaking wet, put some conditioner on it, rinse it just a little, then it will re-curl again.
Water is the only way I can think of to get the curls to reform after they have been slept on and such.
