Hey there fellows =)
I have bought a new brush for my hair, it's a natural boar bristle brush =) It was kind of expensive but, you know, if it is good, then it is necessary, even because brushing is a very important thing as for my hair and for my sister's... We both are liking it much, and we're noticing less hair on it =) =) =) It doesn't pull, and the old one, which was made of plastic did oull our hair, and sometimes broke some strands =( Either ways, we left the old brush and started using this new, better one =D
I was wondering if some of you guys also own a boar bristle brush and what do you think of it... just to share some coments on the item =)
I just aplied that oil I had here at my place to try it out once more... the first time I tried it it did wonders and in the second time not so much... =( Let's see how it behaves this time... anyways, tomorrow I'm probably going to a store that sells natural products and try to find out a natural jojoba oil to apply to my hair maybe once a week to find out what it works out for me... I have to ask you guys if it is too expensive, I hope not =S
Thank's for all the suport you've been giving me guys, I'll never do it without you... my mom is geting a lot more suportive lately and I'm really happy that more and more people that at first did not accepted my hair are now way much tolerant with it... LONG HAIR FOOOOREVEEEEERRRR!!!
Hi João,
I owe two brushes, one is which is a boar bristle. I like it quite a bit. I find it does a good job of spreading the natural oils down the length of my hair. I actually find I can style my hair better with my other brush (a plastic one) so I use the two in tandem.
Brushing is you might call a guilty pleasure of mine. I know it's not the best for my hair but my hair looks terrible if I don't brush it so I do a fair amount everyday.
I use jojoba oil about once per week. The bottle I got is good quality pure jojoba oil and cost $10 US. You don't need to use a lot so one bottle will go a long way.
I agree, long hair forever! :)

My head is shaved right now, and I have never tried it, but I think that a boar bristle brush + jojoba oil = good.
I have a boar bristle brush, and although they are great, I don't use mine very much, at least, not yet. My hair get oily rather quickly, so using this brush tends to turn my hair into one big oil slick.
Perhaps when I get a lot more length I'll be able to use it more, but I'll concentrate more on the bottom half of the hair so I don't collect so much oil.
Jojoba oil sounds interesting. Might play with the idea some day.
Your hair is very good, but I have to say your sister's is just flawless. Pristine. Beautiful!

Boar Bristle brushes cause too much static electricity in my hair. I have no idea why.
