Hello Everyone,
Here are more pictures from my past, including one of when I had my shortest hair in the past 30 years. As for my crewcut days, I never kept those pictures with me since I hated myself with a crewcut, it was imposed by my strict mom in the early seventies while everyone else was growing their hair out. When I finally started to grow my hair, long hair was on its way out of fashion. In the 1977 pic, which is blurry, I was at my high-school grad ceremony. My hair was at the longest acceptable length for the time. The 1975 pic, my hair was longer, and my mom was somewhat fond of it, but expected me not to let it grow past the shoulders.
I am including a pic from 1982 when I feel my hair was at its longest, and stayed at that length more or less until the present.
In the 1984 picture, I was returning from a folk festival called "Rendez-vous Doux", It was one of them where camping was allowed, and not only that, I had very little laundry to do on my way back :)
I do admit to being very disorganized, since I cannot find a 1979 picture with my hair a bit past the shoulders. If I find it I will post it.
Have a nice day,
Georges
Hi Georges,
Thanks for sharing a piece of your hair history with all of us.
It would have really sucked being under your mother's authority as a minor and being forced to keep your hair at a short, conservative length. Wow, did your hair get long in the early 80s. The thickness, length and volume was amazing. Your hair is exactly the same these days, just a bit thinner, from what i have seen. I love that 1984 picture. Your hair is like a jungle there and i love the whole neo-hippie thing going. Take care. Jean.
Hello,
In the 1984 picture, it was a hot, muggy and humid day, so my hair was quite wild, on top of that, I was camping out, so I did not have opportunities to shower often.
My hair tends to have mood swings with the weather, and on humid days, rainy days, it frizzes more.
Have a nice day,
Georges
