I just checked that link and it has lots of great photos from several metal gigs and concerts you attended.
You capture some amazing photos - very professional quality and they look great. I noticed you manage to worm yourself to the front of the crowd, near the stage, to get the best pics.
I don't know a single band but they look really cool and the abundance of hair is as expected of metal acts.
A question : How do you take pics in such dark environments with minimal lighting?
A few gigs i went to i tried to take some snaps and they didn't turn out very well. I used the inbuilt flasher on my camera but they turned out very orangy and unclear/blurry and it was hard to take a photo as i couldn't see the LCD preview before i took the shot as was very dark in the room. Basically i was taking a random shot, and hoping i got something on it.
I think i have mastered basic photography during daylight with lots of lighting but when it comes to night time and flash i suck!
I guess John B could give me a few tips, lol.
That singer's hair is my favourite. Nice orange colour and wavyness. Love the fringe aswell.
http://ghashul.dk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=5271Thanks for the compliments! Yeah, I usually just stay in the front as much as possible, and at times I've had access to the area in front of the 'barrier' that holds people back, so that's neat.
My objective for the camera is very lightsensitive, and I shoot at a high ISO. I try to avoid using flash as that takes away the light effects.
My camera is a DSLR so I have a 'viewfinder' I think it's called instead of the LCD display to use. It's just glass so you see what's actually there, instead of the LCD trying to show what's there.
Special equipment was the best solution I came up with :)
Haha, no wonder when your name is 80's Metal :)
hey dude, what is your hair texture? we might have the same mine is rough, and I have some pretty thick hair, but it seems to get smoother as it gets longer.
Fine and rather curly, especially near the ends. I love his hair. His hair is very similiar to mine, i believe.
Tak for komplimenten!
