Hello Everyone,
For those who are into seventies nostalgia, there are a few ephemeral films from Archive.org that you can download legally, (I warn you: Huge files, so a high-speed connection is required. You can also download Grateful dead mp3's from this site as well.
When I was in High School, the AV guy was an important person in the school. In High School of Montreal, our AV guy had curly long hair to his waist, and his assistant had shoulder-length blonde hair and a beard. This is where teachers went to borrow a movie projector, or a cassette player that was the size and dimensions of a VCR, and that was without the speakers, and of course there were film strip projectors, and the sound track was on a vinyl record, with beeps to remind the operator to change the picture on the film strip.

This links to a classroom film about how bad it is to commit vandalism, write graffiti, and how getting in trouble with the law at 15 can make you lose future job opportunities. Lots of scare tactics in this one. All male actors have hair covering their ears, or earlobes exposed, making me thing this film was made in 1977 (Notice the big 77 graffiti on one of the classroom chairs), as well as the "homo" graffiti on a wall in the begining of the film.

A film about skateboard safety, with lots of long-haired young men.

In this short film "When You Grow UP", made in 1973, even daddy has longish hair. We are in the midst of the mainstream long-haired fad which will go on to July 11, 1976 when disco styles start taking over.
