Last night, I went and saw Gamma Ray in concert at the the local metal club - the one and only Jaxx in Springfield, VA.
One thing I noticed that was interesting with regard to the hair. The bassist's hair, he shaved the temple area, but let the rest of hair fall naturally over it.
It was an incredible show, and of course, I managed to score a few pictures:
Thanks for sharing these photos with us.
That must have been a great gig to go and see.
I like some old school power metal sometimes.
The bassist has a really high hair line, it looks kinda funny.
The band have nice hair though.
lol, who is that in the last photo?
He has really cool 80s hair and a fringe. It looks alot like Steve Harris from Iron Maiden. I wouldn't be suprised if that was him at the gig hahahaha.
It does look a bit like Steve. For a laugh I could next time I pop down to the pub in West Ham he drinks in.
My liver is just recovering from a 3 day trip to Finland (in the bars from 22.00-07.00!!!

You have been lucky enough to meet him before, that is so cool.
You have the best job in the world John. You get to travel around heaps of cool places in the world and get the chance to meet alot of musicians and bands, in person. You must be surrounded by long hair at these metal gigs, lol.
Do you have like a website you upload all the photos you take of bands and stuff?
Yeah, i agree, time to give your liver a rest after that much drinking. Lots and lots of water.
But do they serve mead? They do in Switzerland, I was so happy about that when I was there (I'm not the biggest fan of beer). Mead is the best drink ever!
Yeah, he does have a high hair line. He also shaved the hair on his temples just back to just about where his ear is.
Oh damn, looks like an awesome show!
I LOVE Gamma Ray! But I've never seen them live... grr I covet you. ;)
They have really nice instruments!!!!!
oh and hair :P

Cool pics mate! Glad to see you got a picture of the drummer, they're so often overlooked! Looks like you had a great time!
A little tip for the editing room, when you have that kind of grey cast on some of the pictures, if you open the brightness/contrast settings, and lower the brightness and higher the contrast accordingly you can eliminate or at least lessen it somewhat, see the attached photo as example. Hope you can use the tip :)
