A muso friend of mine who plays guitar in a band that i know. I had not seen him for about 1.5 years or so. When i saw him last his hair was a mere chin length, if even. I saw him yesterday and was really suprised. He has grown his hair looong and it is now atleast mid-back length!
He was also suprised at how long my own hair has grown. His hair looks really incredible and when he headbangs on stage it creates such an effect, something short hair can't achieve. His hair is like dark, straight, thick and very oily. I am very envious of his hair now, to say the least. I am predicting that when i see him next his hair will be down to his butt :)
Guess it's just Human nature to be envious of something we don't always have. But just think, "if" we had it, then we would most likely wish for something else! LOL Example: the guys that are envious of what you presently have now. :-)
ps: Around where I live, long hair is definately taking-off big time now. Looks for sure as if the pendulum is once again swinging the other way. There is a more mid 70's-early 80's look appearing. Really refreshing!
I know what u mean from that story. Ive been growing my hair for the last year and a half.It used to be really short..like almost buzzcut short..now its down to my shoulders..Anytime anyone sees me who hasnt seen me in a while they are really shocked with how long its gotten.
