The question regarding Jojoba is does it actually say it contains Jojoba in the shampoo or conditioner made me think after reading a thread here http://the-light.com/longhair/messages/143440.html
As with Pantene Prov some Shampoos & Conditioners contain Amino acids but when looking for the acids in the ingredients it doesnt suggested there is any acids called Amino Acids in the products themselves !!!!
Axel
Yes Axel, it will clearly say contains "jojoba extracts" or something equivelant in the ingredients list. More than likely, the product has JOJOBA written all over the front label to sell the product, a marketing trick.
Well, i am not a scientist, but i will just give my 2 cents.
Pantene is infamous for using many marketing tactics to sell their products. I got sucked in once and bought Pantene crap - what it said it does on the bottle, and what the effect was on my hair, especially in the long term, was contradictary. Bad stuff. I think "amino acids" is just some fancy name of scientific jargon that probably has little to do with hair, don't know ,but Wikipedia has those answers :)
Hair is made of protein and protein is made of amino acids.
It's propably not on the ingredients list, but that doesn't mean it isn't there.
