Right. A lot of people who i meet are unsure of where i come from. (i've been raised in england but other english people i meet always think that i don't have a totally english accent.. guesses have been that I am from NZ, south africa, spain and even latin america).
does what i look like contribute to this. Is the hair a factor.??

I have no idea, but I'd think you have some Western European, some Southern European, and / or some Indian roots. If you have African roots, it would be one great-great-grandfather/mother or less ;-)
Whatever your background is, your hair looks great and suits you perfectly. Grow it as long as you wish!

My initial guess would be somewhere in the mediteranean lands (spain, italy, etc.)
No idea what ethnicity you are but wow, i have hair quite like yours and it's about the same length too :)
Does yours tend to puff up at the back as well? :P

I've no idea but, is the origin so important?
For example, i'm french, speak french but all my friends find in my language a bit of belgium accent. But i never been in belgium. lol
So, i know a man who come from the East of Europe and he looks like a "standard" french guy...

Okay, I looked at the pic without reading the whole post and my first thought was Italian. But now I'm thinking French....or Spanish. The combination of good looks, good colouring and fab hair all point towards someone from a warm European country with a bit of romance and adventure - I guess in Britain we look to Italy, France and Spain and Latin America for those qualities and would be somewhat surprised to find a home-grown specimen, lol!
since you have similar hair and couloring to me id say german or scotish with a tan.....people tihnk im part lebanese or something sometimes
