Basically, do any of you think it is bad for a person who has never coloured their hair in their life (i.e. Deanof316!) to use a conditioner advertised as an "Intensive Repair Treatment-Colour Shine Treatment' to combat the "damaging effects of UV rays, chlorinated water" etc on "color-treated hair".
?
I've used it 3 times and so far everything seems fine.
But do any of you have any experience or info on this that I should be aware of?
Hi Dean,
this looks like a conditioner that tries to "repair" damaged hair. This usually is done by soft ingredients such as oils or grease that stick to the hair surface. This way, brittle hair looks and feels smoother and shinier. A similar pronciple is used in skin cremes, eg to "repair" dry, or crackled skin.
I don't see any serious potential for damage.
Best wishes,
Hans-Uwe
