i think it's interesting how she's actually kept her hair long. but i wish she would let it grow a few inches lower lol what do you think?
1990
2006
80s_Metal and Fallen Angels i half-expected either of you to look at this thread =p
Haha, you're a better fortune-teller than a lot of the "official" ones at random carnivals around town.
But this is interesting. When I saw the first pic, I totally didn't recognize her. If you hadn't named her, I wouldn't have known who she was, lol. She still has that cute puppy/kitten face, but her hair is so much more natural-looking. I like her current hair better, but still...
Yes, the way her hair looks now, I think she'd be perfect for mid-back, maybe even waist-length. (Yes, I'm an extremist, sue me. :P On second thought, don't, I'm seriously broke.) I'd just like to see how she'd look at such a length.
So..fan of her music, or just her hair?
i'm a fan of her music...back-in-the-day Mariah lol i like hip-hop Mariah somewhat but i prefer her first 3 albums much more because they showcased her vocal range more.
Yeah dude, totally agree. I'm less familiar with her old stuff with her old stuff than you seem to be, but I find she's getting kinda stable and cliched now - she's like some pretty background singer most of the time. I liked when she truly SANG, the golden days. Her hair may be golden now, but her voice sure isn't anymore.
hehe don't let any of her diehard fans hear you say that =p they might shave your head lol i really do miss the golden voice *covers my hair so i dont get shaved lol* but last year i found a few singers who can singer higher than her by 1 or 2 octaves =o
Hehe. *ducks Matrix-style under flying razor* What singers did you - *ducks again* - find?
the 1st is a French opera singer--Mado Robin. she doesn't sing higher than Mariah but she sings her high notes much louder. have a listen hehe
http://home.hetnet.nl/~joop.lindeijer/sound/mado_robin.wma
the 2nd is another--Georgia Brown. in this clip she sings up to F8 i believe.
http://home.hetnet.nl/~joop.lindeijer/sound/georgia_brown.wma
and the 3rd is an Australian fellow--Adam Lopez. he's actually been added to Guinness World Records for singing the top D on the piano--D7. but he can also sing as high as a Bb9 (well over 2 octaves higher =| lol) in this clip he sings up to B8

i must warn you...do NOT wear earphones when you're listening to these people hit their high notes lol
*jaws drop* *eardrums pop* Wow, dude. Even without the headphones I had to put my hand over my ears a couple times, lol. That's really impressive...
Dude, that's a dude? lol, if you hadn't told me, I never would've guessed. This is freaking unbelievable. I must really get back into researching this stuff...
lol, it's a good thing you warned me...
Thanks for these! Educational and interesting all in one package, something I wish more of my classes was. You seem to have a pretty eclectic taste in music, kinda like me (I listen to virtually any genre you can think of, although I'm sorta lacking in the country/classical section, lol). Do you listen to any of these 3 people or do you just have these clips?
i don't listen to classic music that often. i think that's what Georgia Brown sings. and Adam Lopez released his CD on his own i think. since he's in Australia i won't be able to get it until i come to that area next month or in July (BTW i will be sailing through the West Indies on a cruise next week :p)
i listen to alot of genres too (but lacking in rap lmao):
J-pop:Boa, Every Little Thing
K-pop: Bi Rain, Se7en
Pop: Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, N*Sync
Arabic: Nancy Ajram, Amr Diab, Ruby (you would love her hair hehe), Jad Choueiri
Spanish: Selena (RIP), Shakira, Barrio Boyz,
R&B: Mariah & Whitney (back-in-the-day versions! lol), Aaliyah (RIP), Sade, Usher, Mario, Larry Graham, Luther Vandross (RIP), Aretha Frankling (i listen to R&B more than anything lol)
Metal & alternative: Nickelback, Maroon 5, No Doubt
Jazz: Etta James, Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole
Rap: eminem, nelly
as you see i listen to alot lmao
Time to start emailing eachother in private emails, to save board space obviously. hehehe. Its good u have things in common.
hehe whoops. my mistake. it shant happen again lol
Yeah but you didnt for see me posting here haha oh & btw the Subject in question is one fit Attractive Lady :-)
Axel
hehe true. she is very attractive
Her hair looked nice in 1990. Natural and curly. Pity the face leaves little to be desired.
She looks alot more attractive these days, fortunately. The second photo, 2006 ,looks more like a painting or graphics design. Her hair is alot longer and blonde and wavy. I have a hinch she might be using hair extensions to get her hair that extra length? is it natural ?
Of course she can grow it but that photo looks very artificial.
yeah. she's done just about everything to her hair except give it a real cut. she gets maintenance trims. i like it nonetheless lol i was looking for the picture of her performing on New Years Eve. her hair was curly but there may have been some extensions in it bc it was all the way down to her waist
