Lately I've been getting slightly sick of my hair. Since my awkward phase wasn't (and still isn't) bad, I'm just stuck now with a length that is semi-long, but still rather short to me.
I'm content with long hair or short hair, but I decided not to make any drastic changes (ie. cutting) until my hair is what I consider to be long.
My avatar photo is about 4 months old, so hopefully I'll be donw with the "in between phase" soon!

Hi Zac. First of all looking at your avatar photo I have to say your hair is really fantastic and growing in nicely. If you were to ask me I would definately recommend sticking with keeping your hair.My opinion is biased as I just like longer hair but yours seems to be very healthy and just looks great on you.Obviously its your choice but I'm sure others think the same as I do and doesn't just about every guy have short hair anyway? At least the first thing a person notices about you is your hair because its so different than the rest.Hopefully you decide to stick with it.Good luck and hope you keep the hair!Mark
I can empathise with you. I sometimes wish i could just wake up in the morning and discover i have mid-back curly hair. I see growing my hair as a long term goal and i am enjoying the growing phase, inch by inch, month by month. My hair is semi-long aswell and it can still be quite akward and frustrating sometimes(read my observation post below) but i just know that i have to keep growing, i have come much too far to even think of cutting it off.
Can i just say that you have made incredible progress and your hair is looking very nice already. I think you should look at some old progress photos to compare the lengths of your hair, give yourself a pat on the back for what you have achieved already and look forward to years and years of growing in the future, eventually fulfilling your desired length.
Don't tell yourself daily "i want waist length hair", that will only make it feel like its taking forever to grow. Tell yourself "wow, i have really came far in my journey already and my hair is already shoulder length in less than 2 years, its going to be even better with added length". For me, each inch is a great milestone.
