like every one i have some holiday parties to go to..
im trying to think of a formal style to wear my hair in..
im just past the shoulders and slightly wavy. a bit fem is ok
any suggestions??
How about some form of a french braid? I think that could look good on a man, especially if you're wearing something dramatic like black.
french is cool..i do that often..looking for something a little
more "daring".. and you guessed it im wearing black
Is it long enough to do an updo? I think that would be a great party look.
i have seriously been considering an updo.. even one w/ some kind of an accessory..wht would you sugest

im going with an updo..all up and then a mountain of curls.. a friend
of mine is a hairdresser and she is coming to my house to do it for me...can't wait !!!!

If you go ahead with the updo thing, please snap a pic and post it. I don't recall ever seeing a good updo in this board.
Ditto on the French Braid idea - bind it with a ribbon in black velvet or satin.
hmmmm sounds good.. i do have several ribbons bows etc..maybe even a fat barrette
Dan, have you thought about having it cut into a cool longer style. I'm a 70's freak and love shag haircuts. I think they're coming back in style. With your length and waviness a shag could look really cool. Let me know what you think. Good Luck...
