Hi I'm 47 and have the longest hair of my life. I have had long hair since the 60;s on and off usually dictated by employment situation, Now I am a writer and work from home so letting it fly! Hope to learn some things here and maybe help some just starting to grow! Peace

I grew up in a small town at a time when Southern Rock was like the coolest music around and Macon, GA and Capricorn Records was located here. Long hair here got cool when the Allman Brothers Band moved here and put down roots for a few years. It was not uncommon in those days to see folks like Duane Allman walking on one side of the street and Eric Clapton or Charlie Daniels on the other side. Free concerts in the park on Sunday were very common! Who ever was in town came down and jammed. Cool place to live in those days!

Yes, the Allmans, Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels, all great music! I missed all that as I was a little too little!
I did see a program on CMT a while back about that whole music scene around there however, I'm sure it was really fun.

Congrats on that beautiful mane, I am 47 too, and live in Montreal. I have grown my hair since 1979, and never chopped it off for a job. (I worked as a bike messenger in low times between good jobs).

I freelance for Southern music mags, I do guitar reviews, concert reviews, cd reviews, etc.
Great head of hair hair and really well looked after and a great shine and do keep it growing. Nice to see no employer restrictions now.

You have magnificent long hair and in VG condition.
The photo was so large i had to scroll down to view the full length of your hair. I was like scrolling and scrolling and like, "damn, his hair is sooo long", i had trouble getting to the ends of the photo, hehehehe. That shirt creates a nice effect with the hair. It looks like the wolf has long hair, hang on, you ARE the wolf!
