Yesterday I was watching a show on Vh1 I believe where of course they were showing a program about Makeovers and other types of reality based shows and I don't remember what the program was called but it had the so called nerds go against the good looking guys for the attention of one lady. I was impressed with this one gentlemen who when asked if he would cut his hair off he told them straight up he would not do that, he stuck to his principles when it came to his hair. What was happening was the producers were asking the nerds if they would cut their hair and dress up more nicely so they could compete better with the good looking guys. The gentlemen who refused to cut his hair did notice he didn't go far in the game and that the guys who cut their hair were more successful...
I know I've posted alot about this subject matter but I was impressed with the gentlemen who stood his ground when it came to his hair and principles.

Hello
Another example of anti-longhair propaganda, I would like to know more about this show and episode, but I think that it was "fixed". A lot of ladies I know, like my hair the way it is, and I feel good with myself.
In my work environment I feel quite respected, and I respect others. Since I am in a research milieu, you do not see much of the fashionista crowd. (Though I had a few people copy when I bought myself a Palm TX). I also get positive comments about my hair.
Reality shows do not reflect your reality, but the reality that certain dark forces in our society want you to believe. Of course, in my work place, no one follows soaps, or spends time talking about latest trends. We tend to be quite geeky.
Have a nice day,

Georges,
My memory is not too good on exactly what I saw yesterday but I want to say it was on Vh1 and it was about reality tv shows. My reality so far has been good with my long hair, the only incident has been a young girl asking me why my hair was long but I shrugged it off, kids are just curious for the most part, she probably never seen a guy with long hair but back to that show I watched it was really cool to see that guy stand up to that show...
I would think that the guy who did not cut his hair will find a lady to his taste, off the air and she will like him for what he is.
The dark forces I mention are not "mystical", but corporate, and motivated by using all kinds of media to motivate people into spending their money on beauty products and expensive clothing. A lot of these makeover shows are disguised "infomercials" for all kinds of products, and to us people who like our looks "natural", whether women who despise make-up, or men who want to grow their hair long or natural, look inferior.
My desire to help make this world better, is that long hair on men be considered a classic style... it has been for centuries, until World War I. Long hair on me will not hurt the economy, and its acceptance and inclusion will make the world less drab.
Have a nice day,

For me,
I just reached a point where I couldn't stand to look like everyone else, I mean the short hair follow the majority look of recent years. The conventional styles just bore me to death, I'm polite and I keep these feelings to myself but I'm grateful to be able to post here and vent my feelings out...
Georges, Your posts always make me smile, thank you, and you too have a good day!
Merci Beaucoup, and Adieu!

I made a typo that made my text look a bit silly I wrote "Long hair on me will...", but should be read as
"Long hair on men will not hurt the economy, and its acceptance and inclusion will make the world less drab."
Sorry for the booboo
You're not wrong!!!
Can you let me know when they're recruiting, lol?
There is a show on TLC called 10 Years Younger where they attempt to do a makeover to take 10 years off a person's apparent age...I've seen three longhaired guys on that show and they all lost their hair...one even teared up at the thought but went ahead with it anyway...I stopped watching it. Reality TV isn't reality.
Games like that are really just fixed and they're only there for peoples' entertainment. What else is pretty stupid is that...when you said in the show they had "geeks challenging the shorter haired men for ladies?" i believe. I think it was really fixed for the game because alot of girls think long hair looks really good on guys, besides that reason...if a girl was to choose someone for his hair and looks only, then she has absolutely no worth in a relationship. Stupid shows!
