Firt, I'll say hello all! I am RedTail Wolf. I'm 47 and new to the site, so I'm wondering how many peers my around my ae that are posting here. My pic should be up soon, Oren says it will be up as soon as he has time, Thanks Oren.
Well these days I am 43, so I guess I am your age LOL and your hair looks GREAT! Take care
42 here and hoping for a ponytail soon, it's been 14 months so far...
I am five years behind you - hoping I have the great length you have by my 47th!
I think we have about a three generation span of ages here.
- Oren

RedTail Wolf,
You have a manificient mane - great length and color. (I'm a bit older than you at 51 but guess I'm still in the ballpark.)
Karsten
Wow, Karsten! I think that's the best picture you've posted so far. Your mane is magnificent and it suits you perfectly. Very handsome guy you are! My very best.
Thanks - the compliment is appreciated on both my mane ... and my photographic luck.
Karsten
Welcome to the board RedTail Wolf!At 47 your hair is fantastic in length and quality and it only took you three years to grow out as I read on your directory summary.Well hope you decide to keep it for good this time as it looks great on you.As for me I just turned 44 last week and have had long hair of varying lengths since my 20s.I can't even remember what its like to have short hair.LOL.Anyway do you have a goal length this time around?Well glad to see the board growing and one from down south in Nascar country!Actually I was down in March for the Atlanta races for the first time at AMS.Anyway don't be a stranger and post often.Mark
Thanks Mark, I think my goal is to just let it grow till it stops! I was recently been asked to donate a foot or so to Locks of Love an organization that gives to children cancer patients. In fact every year at GABBAfest, (GA Allman Brothers Band Assoc.), for the past three years, people go up on stage between sets and get their hair cut by a stylist from the organization. I have shot pictures of the chopping for an article about the festival I wrote but did not participate
So far I haven't wanted to do it but maybe when a foot of hair wont mean as much I will. Hope GA was good to ya when you came down. Eat A Peach For Peace, RTW

About all I can say of age is that it is a good thing that I was born on a "Leap Year." LOL

42 y/o. From the mountains of WV. Good to meet you.

I am totally new to this site and I am very happy to come across it. My name is Danny S I just turned 48 a few weeks ago, so I guess I am one of the old farts here. I really enjoyed going through the post and picked dup quite a few cool tips. My hair right now is just about the longest I have ever had since college.
Last year I just quit the corporate rat race and have become a fulltime writer so now I can grow my hair out again for the first time in many years without freaking out clients. I am freaking out my family but hey-they love me right? (My wife is fully supportive though) As long as I dont go back to wearing my long feathered earring I had in the 70s I should be OK. LOL
I am totally digging the new hair. Its kinda wild and I havent had a good hair day yet but I dont care I love it. My last cut was probably about 9 months ago I forget. (Old age) But I intend to let it GO! Past my shoulders is a goal right now I guess. The Pic I have posted was back in Dec. I'll get a more current one soon.
Anyway just introducing myself. Hope to exchange with everyone here over the days, months ahead. Thanks for being here.
Peace,
Danny S
