Here are some old pics of me. One is of me before I grew my hair out.
I could not stand it that short anymore. The other is about 11 month of growth.Have you ever had people look at old pix of you and say, "You look much better with short hair like in the picture."? I used to get that alot, and would erritate the heck out of me.Enjoy,ESDI

I just hope that you won't submit to this, and just keep growing. Atleast that's what I'm trying to do.
When people do try that one - tell them that their opinion is utterly irrelevant and that you prefer it long and that's an end to the matter.
Its looking good - a few more months it will look seriously good,
Hi Mike ESDI-80,
That happens a lot of times - you really have to AVOID giving people the option to "picture" you with short hair - there are lots of them around who are so used to men with short hair, and they like best what they know best - even if it's not better at all.
The fact that you are taking the trouble to go through the awkward stage and all that goes with it is ample proof that you are happier with long hair. By the way, it does look a lot more interesting, too, you don't any longer look like "Mr. Average Guy", but you come across as an interesting guy who has to offer a lot.
If you do want people to compare pictures, try to show them a short-haired picture where you look grouchy, and compare it with a long-haired picture where you look enthusiastic and happy. Your smile is kind-of broader on the short-haired picture, and that fools all the fools!

My relatives are always ones to say that I look like a different person now, but your long hair doesn't seem to have changed you drastically but it still looks really good. And I know what you're referring to, cuz I always get people saying "oh you looked so much more handsome without all that hair" and yes, it's very bothersome
