Okay, RTW, I've gotta ask. What's the meaning behind that quote?
Jim
If I'm not mistaken, it was a phrase by Duane Allman. I forget the exact circumstances though.

Peace
Bruce
Well the origin of that is from Duane Allman. He was being interviewed on a radio station and when asked about his position on the Vietnam war, he replied "Screw the War, I just Eat A Peach For Peace!"
Now in Georgia we have peaches that grow on trees and we have Georgia Peaches with two legs and curves if ya get my meaning. So no one really knows of which of the two he spoke of that day on the radio. However, those who visited the house the AB Band lived in then will tell ya there were way more two legged Peaches than any tree fruit laying around the place......
Take the meaning which ever way you like Brother Jim, but either way, eatin' Peaches is a good thang! Since there's another war on, I'll continue to end posts with "Eat A Peach For Peace" It's something I CAN do for the country.
