Hey guys. Been a bit of a lurker around here, but I've learned a hell of alot.
Anyway, I last cut my top hairs about 2 years ago, with 2 trims in the back and one on the sides during the awkward stage. My growing out period was a bit challenging b/c I work in a professional environment, so it was a huge relief when I was able to tie the hair back a few months back.
The longest hairs are right around 12", and the pic is from April.

you look very pleased with the results you have obtained.
Despite the trims, your hair seems on par for 2 yrs growth and is a nice length. Do you plan on growing longer?

I appreciate the comments. As far as cutting goes...my hair has become important to me for two reasons:
1) My ex-wife asked me to grow it out (while we were still married), and told me a few months ago that she doesn't like it long. While I love her and am friends with her, after all this work no way I'm cutting for awhile.
2) I know we are not encouraged to be political on here, but I'll put this simply and (somewhat) discreetly: there will be no cut (excluding trims) until the US has a new administration. Sort of my "silent protest" if you will.
