I just realized my first post would probably get lost in the thread to which I was replying so this is kind of a repeat. Sorrybout that, but I did want to introduce myself. I am totally new to this site and I am very happy to come across it. My name is Danny S, I just turned 48 a few weeks ago, so I guess I am one of the old farts here. I really enjoyed going through the posts and picked up quite a few cool tips. My hair right now is just about the longest I have ever had since college.
Last year I just quit the corporate rat race and have become a fulltime writer so now I can grow my hair out again for the first time in many years without freaking out clients. I am freaking out my family but hey-they love me right? (My wife is fully supportive though) As long as I dont go back to wearing my long feathered earring I had in the 70s I should be OK. LOL
I am totally digging the new hair. Its kinda wild and I havent had a good hair day yet but I dont care I love it. My last cut was probably about 9 months ago I forget. (Old age) But I intend to let it GO! Past my shoulders is a goal right now I guess. The Pic I have posted was back in Dec. I'll get a more current one soon.
Anyway just introducing myself. Hope to exchange with everyone here over the days, months ahead. Thanks for being here.
Peace,
Danny S
dannyschwarzhoff.netLong hair = AWESOME!!! Grow it dude, it's gonna look great!
Just remember to take good care of your hair so it'll look it's best.
Welcome welcome,
You certaintly don't look your age, much younger, and i am sure that long hair will enhance your youthful appearance.
Glad to see that you disbanded from the corporate lifestyle and are able to live a more relaxing and liberal lifestyle as a writer, able to grow your hair out. Good idea not to wear those 70s earrings :p Stick around and keep us posted. Jean.
Looking good, and welcome!!
Welcome to the old farts club. I made almost the same post a couple of months ago; I'm 52 and in a position to do the same.
